Colleges in Massachusetts

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

Looking for a school in the state of Massachusetts? Unless you are looking for pictures of the University of Massachusetts cheerleaders, chances are good that you are.  We just came across a site that, like this one, is dedicated to schools and colleges in Massachusetts.  With all of the junk websites and mis-information that is floating around on the internet today, it is nice to find a site like this one that actually delivers some real and usefull information about educational opportunities for everyone, not just students looking to attend college. Colleges in Massachusetts lists vocational schools as well as listings of colleges and universities. So, if you have thought about continuing your education, finishing up your college degree, or just want to see what is out there, take a look at CIM.

Thursday, February 2nd, 2006

Former General Electric Chairman and Salem, Massachusetts native, Jack Welch, has given $1 million for scholarships for Salem students enrolling in the business school at Salem State College.  It has been a windfall year for the small state college as they have received $2 million from Analogic Corp. founder Bernard Gordon and $2.5 million from Henry Bertolon.  In the words of Karen Cady, a college spokeswoman, they have “got a hat trick.” Well said.
